As we know, TV plays an important part in our daily life. It’s quicker and more convenient to get information from TV than from newspapers. Providing us with lively and interesting moving pictures, TV enables us not only to see what is happening in the world but to learn many things, including foreign languages. So it is not reasonable to forbid students to watch TV. But watching TV too long is not good. Sitting in front of TV all day does harm to our eyes and wastes our time for study.正如我们所知，电视在我们的日常生活中起着重要的作用。从电视上获取信息比报纸更快，更方便。给我们提供生动有趣的感人的画面，电视使我们不仅能看到世界上发生了什么，而且要学习很多东西，包括外语。禁止学生看电视是不合理的。但是看电视太长不好。整天坐在电视机前，对眼睛有害，浪费时间去学习。
